We rode to Sturgis just to check out the town.  We will attend 2012's rally.

Thanks to my Galefriend, I have been able to get to know Barb.  Her husband Dave is stationed at Ellsworth, AFB in South Dakota (until the end of this month).  We got to have dinner with them tonight, and Terry and Dave finally got to meet.

After dinner TJ and I went to Mt. Rushmore for the lighting ceremony.  At the end they called up all military past and present.  5 of the guys got to be part of the flag folding ceremony, then the Ranger walked down the aisle and let each of them touch the flag that was flown at Rushmore.  It was awesome, made me proud!
